Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVLV), a leading security technology company pioneering AI-powered screening solutions designed to create safer experiences, today announced a multi-year renewal of its relationship with Boston College. As part of the agreement, Boston College has upgraded its fleet of Evolv Express® systems from Gen1 to Gen2 hardware and added three Evolv eXpedite™ bag screening systems. The renewal reflects Boston College’s continued confidence in Evolv’s mission and a shared commitment to creating safer experiences.
Home to over 30 varsity athletic programs, Boston College welcomes thousands of students, athletes, alumni, fans, and visitors to campus events each year. As the Official Fan Screening Partner of Boston College Athletics, the renewal builds a strong relationship between Boston College and Evolv. The renewal demonstrates the continued desire to help the university adapt to the evolving needs of its athletics venues and event operations. The latest investment in Express Gen2 and eXpedite reflects Boston College’s continued focus on enhancing the game-day experience while supporting efficient venue operations.
“At Boston College, the safety and well-being of our students, athletes, staff, and fans are always a priority,” said Matt Conway, Associate Athletics Director – Facilities and Operations at Boston College. “Our goals align with Evolv’s mission of creating safer experiences, and we’ve found a strong partner in helping us support our community. Upgrading to Gen2 systems and adding eXpedite is a step towards our continuous commitment to providing a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who comes to our athletics venues.”
“We’re grateful for Boston College’s continued trust in Evolv and their decision to upgrade to Express Gen2 as well as eXpedite,” said John Baier, Vice President of Sports & Entertainment at Evolv Technology. “Their investment in both Express Gen2 and eXpedite highlights their commitment to continuously improving venue operations and their fan experience. We look forward to renewing our partnership with Boston College.”
Boston College joins a growing number of collegiate athletics programs investing in next-generation screening technology to support both venue operations and the fan experience. The upgrade follows a broader trend across New England, including Evolv’s extended partnership Gillette Stadium, and highlights Evolv systems in the area such as at Merrimack College and the New England Conservatory of Music. Across collegiate and professional sports, venues continue to invest in technologies that support their operational goals while enhancing the experience for students, athletes, staff, and fans.
