Aledade Names Sashi Moodley Chief Medical Officer and Kim Wittman Chief People Officer

Aledade PBC, a physician‑led national leader in value‑based care, today announced the appointments of Sashi Moodley, MD, as chief medical officer and Kim Wittman as chief people officer. These proven executives will strengthen Aledade’s leadership team and scale support for its national model, which partners with primary care practices across 46 states to deliver value-based care to more than 3 million patients.

To accelerate improved patient outcomes, Aledade is consolidating clinical strategy under Dr. Moodley, creating a unified engine to innovate and scale care models faster.

“Our partner practices are taking on real accountability for their patients’ health, and Aledade’s leaders are focused entirely on making that easier to do well,” said Farzad Mostashari, MD, co-founder and CEO of Aledade. “Sashi has spent his career building clinical programs that work at national scale, and Kim has spent hers building the kind of organization that can deliver on a promise like ours. I am glad to have them both.”

Dr. Moodley will support Aledade partner primary care organizations to bolster care quality and clinical success, leveraging Aledade’s AI-driven technology — including the Aledade App and Aledade Assist™. As chief medical officer (CMO) at Walgreens, Dr. Moodley developed enterprise clinical strategy and founded its enterprise quality management program. Prior to his role at Walgreens, he was national vice president at CareMore & Aspire Health (Anthem Inc.), overseeing clinical innovation across more than 40 states. Named one of Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives in 2024, Dr. Moodley brings deep expertise in scaling population health initiatives, home-based care delivery and virtual care models.

“To truly support primary care organizations we must incorporate technology deeper into clinical workflows — making clinicians’ lives easier while enabling the practice of rigorous, evidence-based medicine at the point of care,” Dr. Moodley said. “I am honored to join Aledade to lead this important work, expanding our impact on the outcomes that matter most to patients and the practices we serve every day.”

Wittman will lead Aledade’s enterprise people strategy, including internal AI transformation, workforce planning, talent acquisition and leadership development. In this role, she will align human capital strategies with Aledade’s business goals and foster an inclusive workplace culture, ensuring that the company’s workforce directly empowers the primary care organizations within its network. She brings more than two decades of strategic human resources and people leadership experience across high-growth healthcare, retail and technology organizations. Most recently, she served as chief people officer (CPO) at Waystar, where she led the overall people strategy and employee lifecycle experience.

“Aledade’s workforce supports our partner practices across the country,” Wittman said. “How we hire, how we develop our talent and how we stay connected and aligned is what determines whether our partners are well served. That is the work I am here to do, and it is why I joined Aledade.”
