MAPLE GROVE, Minn., Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — In its 12th year, TopLine Credit Union Foundation has awarded a total of $41,500 in scholarship money to 46 TopLine members who are continuing their education, and $1,500 in scholarship funds to support post-secondary educational needs and goals of students in Nigeria through a partnership with African Education and Health Initiative (AFEDHI), a local nonprofit organization with a vision to assist African students with access to education, books, and school supplies.
TopLine Credit Union Foundation received 201 applications. Any TopLine member pursuing post-secondary education by attending a college or university, graduate school, or a 2-4-year community, vocational or technical college in the fall of 2026 was eligible.
Scholarship applicants needed to complete a one-page application form and submit an essay that answered the question “Describe a moment when you had to make a decision that went against what others expected of you.”
“Our Foundation board faced the challenge of selecting 47 scholarship recipients from over 200 applicants” said Taylor Tollette, President, TopLine Credit Union Foundation. “We proudly celebrate their dedication and drive and are honored to support these remarkable students as they continue their educational paths.”
