Concurrent Investment Advisors, LLC (“Concurrent”), a leading independent registered investment adviser (RIA) platform, continued growth across the first and second quarters of 2026, reaching $21 billion in total assets under management by mid-year.
Since the beginning of the year, Concurrent has added $3.4 billion in AUM and welcomed 25 advisors to the platform, reflecting continued demand from entrepreneurial advisors seeking a combination of independence, ownership, institutional-caliber infrastructure and strategic partnership.
“Scale matters, but only when it strengthens the advisor and the client experience. We are building central capabilities to amplify the entrepreneur, not replace the qualities that make each firm distinct. That is the opportunity ahead for Concurrent, and it is why we believe the momentum we have built together is still in its early stages,” said Nate Lenz, CEO of Concurrent. “The advisors joining us are not looking for conformity. They are looking for a partner that can bring sophisticated infrastructure, centralized resources, thoughtful technology and real strategic support to entrepreneurial businesses without compromising ownership, autonomy or client relationships. Reaching $21 billion by mid-year reflects the strength of that model and the collective ambition of the firms building with us.”
Concurrent’s growth has come through multiple pathways, including new firms joining the platform, advisors affiliating with established teams across the network and larger teams launching or transitioning with Concurrent’s support while preserving their brand identity and client-first approach.
One of the largest teams to join the platform, bringing nearly $450 million in AUM, was Nine Bridge Financial Partners. The firm, based in Charlotte, NC, has a national client presence and is led by partners Ken Calhoun, Mike Proud and Ed Shields. Transitioning with the team is financial advisor Jay Rizzo. Nine Bridge sought a partner with experience helping firms transition from a broker-dealer structure into the RIA model. The team credits its decision to Concurrent’s integrated support, training resources and expanded planning and investment services.
“The Concurrent team’s support and training proved to be essential for a seamless transition to independence,” said Mike Proud, Managing Director, Nine Bridge Financial Partners. “We were seeking the flexibility and tools that would benefit our clients with top-tier offerings and allow us to scale as a firm efficiently.”
Among others, Concurrent welcomed Gary Wurl and Randall Fowler, who joined Wealth Partners Alliance and Mark Kalish with Family Wealth Solutions. Additionally, advisors Adolfo Montesa, John Feast and Owen Pardo also partnered with the firm in the first half of the year.
The first-half results also build on previously announced momentum, including Concurrent’s partnership with TAVO Wealth, a $1.2 billion national firm and the addition of 6 RIA Capital Partners since the program’s launch in 2025. As the platform expands, Concurrent has continued to invest in the internal capabilities required to support long-term growth. The firm’s home office has grown to 87 team members, representing a 28% increase, with continued investment across onboarding, operations, compliance, investment solutions, practice synergies, centralized services, technology and advisor support.
“Our growth this year reflects the flexibility of the Concurrent model,” said Joe Mooney, Managing Director and Head of Business Development at Concurrent. “Advisors are joining us in different ways, but they are doing so for a consistent reason: they want the ability to scale with the resources of a larger platform while maintaining the identity, control and entrepreneurial energy that made their businesses successful in the first place. Our role is to meet them where they are and help them build what comes next.”
Concurrent’s first-half growth reinforces the firm’s position as a platform for independent-minded advisors seeking a more aligned path to scale. By pairing growth capital, operational support, practice management resources, investment access, centralized planning capabilities and a collaborative peer network, Concurrent continues to serve as a partner for advisors building durable, client-centered enterprises.
